Washington based Drop Electric (that's DC by the way, not Tyne & Wear) are currently raising funds via IndieGogo to release the follow up to 2013s Waking Up To The Fire.
Here's their story:
"Our former singer, Kristina, left the band late last year after completion of our album, "Lost in Decay".
We actually struggled with the idea of releasing it after her departure, but we've ultimately decided that we wanted to share it with the world, no matter the current make-up of the band (we've since brought on Anya as a replacement - she's fantastic!).
To that end, we've decided to self-release the album on Monday, April 20th, 2015. Like our previous self-release, we're going to have it up on Bandcamp as a "pay-what-you-want" album. To do it right though, we need to hire a PR firm to run point on marketing, get our album mastered, and print some god-damn vinyl, which is where you guys come in with your drug money, inheritance, or however people make a living these days."
