In Short - DEADBEAR - The Trees are Dancing

DEADBEAR - The Trees Are Dancing EP

It's no wonder the trees are dancing, DEADBEAR (alias Nick Donovan) has made a lovely EP that has upbeat, downbeat and ambient rhythms to suit the taste of any of our deciduous friends.  The Berlin based producer and musician has combined masses of effects and bytes to make something very nice indeed.

Opener, Holding Heart Aces is an upbeat, almost tribal affair setting out perfect intentions whilst single Modersohnbrücke delves further more into the experimental.  The title track sees 2017s rising genre, spoken word, introduced and leads perfectly into a more laid back second half of the EP.

Still introducing marvellous sounds and muffled vocals, The Vault and Hymna slow the pace slightly with clinical precision and Ishtar (The Evening Star) fades away into the glorious night sky.

The stuff that Summer evenings should be made for.
