Martin Stephenson And The Daintees are going all analog again with the 30th anniversary of their classic debut album Boat to Bolivia.
The band are returning to the studio in Stirling and recording the album again in it's entirety, it will feature John Steel on Lead Guitar & Harmonicas, Christopher Mordey on Bass and Kate Stephenson on drums with one special guest who will be Malcolm McMaster on pedal steel.
Boat To Bolivia will be recorded fresh and live onto 16 track, one inch tape, then mixed onto quarter inch and hopefully released on vinyl as a collectors piece for 2016. The engineer will be Mark Lough who has done some excellent work for the band over the years, most notably California Star, where he both mixed and mastered the project.
