Set for release on 3rd August, Scottish three-piece Stillhound’s 2nd single ‘Think This Way’ is a masterclass in dreamy-electronica, blending soothing piano chords with layered vocals and atmospheric guitar riffs. The four-piece, consisting of school friends Fergus Cook, Laurie Corlett-Donald, Dave Lloyd and latest addition Cat Myers developed their sound whilst locked away in various mountain lodges in their homeland taking inspiration from art, geography and the far flung soundscapes created by Boards of Canada to the pop aesthetic of Tears for Fears.
The first single ’Seethe Unseen’ emerged from a darker side of their repertoire, showcasing their glistening and emotive electronica with digital textures and sounds, accompanied by a driving beat. Stillhound's live show remains under wraps but with a handful of tracks waiting to be unleashed, they look ready to pick up the electronic-pop mantle and make 2015 their own.
